2005 Kosciusko Sparkling Pinot Chardonnay
|
 |
|
.
Tasting Notes
2005 Vintage 60/40 Pinot
dominant, this is a classic sparkling from Tumbarumba –
the reason why Tumbarumba was originally planted to
vines. Soft nutty characters from storage on lees, fine
bead and crisp dry finish make this a seriously good
fizz.

2006 Kosciusko CHARDONNAY
|
|
|
Tasting Notes
This wine was made to
demonstrate the exceptional quality of premium fruit
from the cool Tumbarumba appellation. Made in dry
“Chablis” style it is fruit driven, supported by subtle
French oak and partial malolactic fermentation to fill
the smooth, creamy palate. Tropical and citrus fruit
flavours are highlighted by a fresh, crisp, lingering
finish.

2004 Kosciusko PINOT NOIR
|
|
Tasting Notes
A young classic from this
high altitude region dominated by perfume, violets,
roses and a developing hint of cassis, cedar and new
leather. It has a refreshing finish and will reward many
years of cellaring. Minimal filtration to preserve
delicacy during production may result in a slight
deposit. Store upright and decant last glass carefully.

2005 Kosciusko SHIRAZ MERLOT
|
|
Tasting Notes
Medium bodied, this is a
delicious example of cool climate red wine. The Shiraz
provides structure and rich raspberry and blackberry
fruit characters with the Merlot adding elegance and
floral, minty perfume.
A delightfully balanced
‘drink-now’ wine which will reward several years of
cellaring.
