2009 Z4 ZARAH SAUVIGNON BLANC RIESLING

This wine is straw gold in colour with fresh, lime, stonefruit, lychee fruit characters on the nose.  The flavours are zesty, clean and vibrant with a fresh, long finish.

This Sauvignon Blanc Riesling 2009 is a unique blend and is rarely produced in the Canberra District region.  It is an exciting addition to the fine cool climate wines being produced in this region.

2008 Z4 ZANE SHIRAZ

This Shiraz 2008 is produced from premium grapes grown in the Canberra District wine region.  The region is rapidly achieving a reputation for producing the cool climate red wines so sought after by today’s wine consumers.

Variety: 100% Shiraz Canberra Region

Wine Analysis: 14.4% Alc.

Tasting Notes

Colour: The wine dark and rich red in colour. 

Nose: It  has sweet black cherry and plum fruit with some ‘spicy’ notes and a hint of vanilla on the nose.

Palate: The palate is full, richly flavoured with a soft, fine grained tannin and a persistent finish.

2008 Z4 ZACHARY CABERNET MERLOT

This Cabernet merlot 2008 is produced from premium grapes grown in the Canberra District wine region.  The region is rapidly achieving a reputation for producing the cool climate red wines so sought after by today’s wine consumers.

Variety: 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 49% Merlot Canberra Region

Wine Analysis: 13.8% Alc.

Tasting Notes

The black currant flavours in the Cabernet Sauvignon are finely balanced with the Merlot which results in a wine that is ideal with food, especially meat and pasta dishes.

The palate is full bodied, generous in length and flavoured with smooth tannins and a lingering finish.
